Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital headquarter cooling load analysis and its application

Hospital buildings have the characteristics of large flow of people, many equipment and needing to be purified, and are large energy consumers,  with an average annual energy consumption of more than twice  that of  hotel buildings. Taking Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital headquarter as an example, this paper analyses the air conditioning cooling load rate and unit operating  time in the cooling season from 2016 to 2021, and puts forward the concept of Gini coefficient of cooling load rate. Using the cooling load rate data of the headquarter, the selection of chillers for the new east campus of the hospital is guided.
